Dutch rapper Josylvio launched his fifth - and highly anticipated - album "Abu Omar" on January 22, 2021 with up to 17 tracks. He has accomplished a lot in the past already; four successful solo albums, two compilation albums with Hella Cash Gang, two number 1 albums and four number 1 hits in the Netherlands. Josylvio was also the most streamed Dutch artist on Spotify in 2018, in a list dominated by Dutch rappers. He also won an Edison in the hip hop category with his previous album “Gimma”.

Josylvio shows a personal side of himself on "Abu Omar" (Arabic for "father of Omar"). The album title refers to his firstborn son Omar and emphasizes the influence that fatherhood has on his life. In the album Josylvio also gives his vision on problems that play a role in todays society and he raps about his development from a boy from the street to a successful artist, label owner and businessman.

The tunes are exactly like you would except from Mr. Hella Cash: a mix of old school beats with hard bars. The album contains a list of contributions from other famous Dutch artists like Kevin, Sevn Alias, KA, MocroManiac, Yssi SB, Adje, Lijpe, Sam J'taime, Hef and Candy Dulfer.

In collaboration with La Foux, Top Notch and Josylvio, we have created an AR filter to promote the new album with 3 different filters in which the style and artwork of the album cover and various video clips have been incorporated.
